So I was floating in my space ship,
Through the galaxy I flew.
When suddenly I noticed Earth
It was beautiful and blue.

More than a thousand lightyears
Had I been sitting there.
In this tiny capsule
So I could use a breath of air.

But when I 'd put my space ship
Safely on the ground.
I heard the planet moaning,
I saw fires all around.

The place looked pretty grim to me.
And I decided then,
To fly another thousand lightyears
And go back home again.
